Rota Chamber of Commerce Hosts Successful New Leadership and Networking Mixer

Rota, MP – The Rota Chamber of Commerce (RCC) kicked off the year with an exciting and successful New Leadership and Networking Mixer, held at Pizzaria Bar and Grill on February 28. The event brought together local business owners, leaders, and community members to network and connect, setting a positive tone for the Chamber’s activities in 2025.

The evening featured introductions of the new RCC Board Members, including President Charlene Ogo, Vice President Juan Pan Guerrero, Secretary Dana Calvo, Treasurer Jacqueline Manglona, and Board of Directors Diana Hocog, Steven McCoy, and Pedre Dela Cruz. The event also welcomed distinguished guest speakers Joseph Guerrero from the Saipan Chamber of Commerce and CMSgt. Bobby Vongphakdy of PACAF, who shared valuable insights and industry knowledge with attendees.

A strong presence of local businesses and community leaders attended the event, marking a promising start for the year’s networking opportunities and fostering strong relationships within the community.

President Charlene Ogo expressed her excitement about the event, saying, “I’m thrilled to see such a great turnout for our first mixer of the year. It was an excellent opportunity for local businesses and leaders to connect. As a newer member of the Chamber, I am eager to see our organization grow and to encourage more businesses to join and be part of what we’re building here on Rota. One attendee, who attended their first RCC event, shared their positive experience, stating, “I didn’t expect to meet so many great people at my first RCC event. It was amazing to connect with others who are willing to share their knowledge and experiences. This event gave me a new perspective and opportunities to learn from others in the community, and I look forward to attending more mixers in the future.”
