Rota, CNMI — The Rota Chamber of Commerce is proud to have supported the Rota Small
Business Development Center’s (SBDC) “Christmas in July” Small Business Night, held on
Friday, July 11, 2025, at Sinapalo Children’s Park from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
The festive evening highlighted the strength and creativity of Rota’s small business community.
Vendors took center stage during the event, showcasing their products and services while
engaging directly with local residents. Community members also enjoyed a variety of activities,
entertainment, and the chance to win exciting raffle prizes throughout the night.
To support the event’s goals, the Rota Chamber donated funds toward the vendor booth
competition and raffle prizes, continuing its support for a second consecutive year. These
contributions were made possible through the generous support of the Bank of Guam, who
provided funding to the Chamber specifically to assist in this initiative.
“The Rota Chamber of Commerce is proud to support the SBDC’s Christmas in July event.
While we weren’t able to attend this year, the Chamber believes in uplifting local initiatives that
bring our community together and highlight the spirit of giving year-round,” said Dana Calvo,
Rota Chamber of Commerce Secretary.
The Chamber commends CNMI SBDC for creating a space where not only businesses
benefited, but community members also walked away with meaningful experiences — whether
through personal connections, festive entertainment, or raffle prizes that ensured nearly
everyone had something to enjoy.
The Rota Chamber of Commerce remains committed to supporting collaborative efforts that
strengthen the local economy and empower small business growth.
